Our Talk Line offers a free, confidential and nonjudgmental space for you to talk about your feelings and decisions about pregnancy, parenting, abortion and adoption. We provide unconditional support before, during and after your pregnancy experience, no matter which options you are considering or what decisions you have already made. You can call us toll-free from anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.
"Thank you so much for being there. I am so appreciative for feeling as though I have someone on my side. No one else in my life really understood how I was feeling or what I was going through in making this decision." -Backline Caller
Backline receives calls from women and men all over the country. People of all ages, races, backgrounds, religious affiliations and political leanings call Backline. Most of our callers are women who want to discuss their own experience, but we also speak often to husbands, boyfriends, parents, friends and loved ones.
We know everyone needs a safe place to talk, and our specially trained volunteer Talk Line Advocates are committed to listening, sharing decision-making tools, and helping you identify and build your support network.
