Backline promotes unconditional and judgment-free support for people in all their decisions, feelings and experiences with pregnancy, parenting, adoption and abortion.
Through direct service and social change strategies, we are building a world where all people can make the reproductive decisions that are best for their lives, without coercion or limitation, and where the dignity of lived experiences is affirmed and honored.
Backline’s innovative all-options approach is revolutionizing the landscape of pregnancy and parenting services.
Our Talkline offers peer counseling and support to people throughout the United States and Canada. We are the only national talkline that welcomes calls at any point during or after pregnancy, whether callers are looking for options counseling, support before or after abortion, or a chance to talk about parenting, pregnancy loss, adoption, or infertility.
All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center is the first full-spectrum pregnancy center in the U.S.! Located in Bloomington, Indiana, we offer open-hearted support through every reproductive turning point. At All-Options, Hoosiers can find free and unbiased peer counseling, diaper assistance, abortion funding, and referrals to local services of all kinds.
Backline trainings such as the Pregnancy Options Workshop help health and social service providers build relationships and learn new skills in order to offer pregnancy options counseling and referral without judgment or bias.
The Faith Aloud clergy counseling line became a program of Backline in the Fall of 2015. Faith Aloud offers compassionate, nonjudgmental religious and spiritual support for abortion and pregnancy decisions. Callers can connect with trained clergy and religious counselors from diverse faith backgrounds.
